Enrolment Information

Here’s how enrolment works at Evantaa Institute, from your application to your first class.

How to apply

Apply online at http://www.evantaa.edu.au or email your form to admissions@evantaa.edu.au. You’ll need proof of your date of birth, your prior studies, and English proficiency where required. Apply early to secure your place and allow time for visa processing — and contact admissions any time you need help.

Orientation

Orientation is a required part of starting with us. You’ll learn about our facilities, services, policies and programs, and get advice on accommodation, transport and local life. Your Student Support Officer is there to help you settle in.

Recognition, credit & changes

  • Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL): apply during enrolment to have existing skills and experience recognised.
  • Credit transfer: submit evidence of prior study to receive credit toward your course.
  • Changing your enrolment: deferral, suspension or cancellation happen only in limited cases; if we initiate a change, you have the right to appeal.
  • Transfers: international students stay with us for the first six months of their principal course (ESOS Standard 7); after that, transfer requests are considered.

Family & dependants

Eligible family members can include a spouse and unmarried children under 18. School-aged children must enrol in school, with fees of around AUD $8,000–$15,000 per year. Check visa conditions with the Department of Home Affairs.

Support for every student

  • Language & numeracy: free support English classes are available, with delivery and assessment tailored to your needs.
  • Access & equity: we welcome students from every background and are committed to equal access to training.
  • Privacy: we collect information only as required by law and protect it carefully.
